I thought I should update my journal quickly to inform people that I will be inactive for quite sometime.

Although I have multiple photoshop projects stacked in my folder, some are waiting to be coloured, others are half coloured etc... I am just too busy at the moment. Producing movies, animations and multiple VFX projects for Uni, which is time consuming, something I underestimated.

Right now my focus is passing University with decent marks; I will have to put my past time interests aside.

Right now I'm busy organizing a small "movie" production that I will be directing etc... I have my actors/actress; I will have my green screen area setup hopefully soon and I will probably be buying a decent broadcast camera for the film. Most of the VFX scenes are completed, just a few left I need to trouble shoot and work my way around the problems.

Other than that, hopefully I will be more active here in the future.

What a year!

Been awhile since I've updated my journal:

While, the year ended quite nicely; Did well at University, meeting my brother in-law for the first time, ect....

Yes I have been extremely busy with many projects, one in particular *My Favourite* Designing an entire cartoon, which I will hopefully animate this year, I might upload the early production sometime this year.

Also have been directing and editing videos for people, tiring job, but exhilarating; Mostly weddings, but I did managed to get my documentary for Uni completed! Second documentary will be sometime this year.

When it comes to artwork, I've been busy with a project for about 2 months, need to do a couple of things on it first before I upload it, before I get too busy this year. Yes, my workload doubles in 2011 :( but oh well!

Overall, 2010 was a crappy year for me, but ended rather well.

Hope everyone has a fantastic year!

Some news.

Now that i have finished my 4 days of attending the university workshops, I'm glad to say that with my FRM (Forms and motions) course, I was 2% away from getting a distinction; the course includes my Commercial, 3D Model, and my 4 minute film. The TDM101L Course (2-dimensional) which consists of painting, digital and construction work, I was happy to get a C for it.

Everyone at the workshops got ripped to shreds from the lecturers, but overall, we did quite well.

We came to the conclusion that I cannot paint to save my life lol. I should just stick to digital and filming.

It was quite an experience, even though there were a few hiccups in the beginning (as always) I met alot of new people, and we are all good friends to help each other along during the 3 year course. I think at the end of the day, we all want to see each other receive our degrees.

Now to start the next lot of filming, photography and painting :/

I do apologize for not updating my journal and uploading some new artwork.

Lets put it this way. University has pretty much tied me down at the moment, 6 assignments to do by the middle of August and they are not easy assignments.

For my Forms and motions course, I have to do 2 Video assignments which means I have to make 2 movie clips between 3-4 minutes long, not so bad but it is when your star actress keeps bailing out on you, and having to climb mountains all over the place and to top it up, they are not looking for a normal video clip but they want me to do manipulation and see how creative I can be, this is rather easy as I use time relapse and also use Adobe After Effects which is very simple, but all I need is my damn video shots.

Then I have to do one creature construction using 3DS max and I have absolutely no clue how to begin this, luckily I bought a guide book to help me along.

Then I have to do 3 Assignments for my 2-dimensional drawing but I won't get into that as it will take time. I have to do this right as the lecturers were not happy with my first quarter assignments and if I don't do well in this quarter, then I pretty much have failed unless I can pull a miracle during the exams.

So, I haven't neglected my artwork, just rather busy but I have been doing some drawing and I am busy with it in photoshop but it will take some time finishing.

Anyways, have a great day.

For those of you who know how to do animation, please could you give me some tips.

Now my next project that I have to do is animation. We have to animate our previous project where we had to design a human hybrid and a robot hybrid. I would like to animate my Human one as it looks more creepy but I have absolutely no clue on how to begin.

I have installed my 3DS Max 2008 version on but now I need to know is how to construct it.
Do I scan my picture of my Hybrid into my PC, then import it into 3D Max?

Anyone who is willing to share some tips, would be fantastic. I am googling for tutorials at the moment and I am gonna give it a try.
